The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
Clary Fray is a New York teenager whose life changes when her mother disappears and she begins seeing events hidden from ordinary people. She learns that she belongs to the Shadowhunters, half-angel warriors who hunt demons, and enters a secret world inhabited by vampires, werewolves, warlocks and other Downworlders. With Jace Wayland and other Shadowhunters, Clary searches for an ancient cup while trying to understand her connection to this dangerous conflict and find her mother.
