The Sorcerer's Apprentice
In modern-day Manhattan, master sorcerer Balthazar Blake is fighting to keep the city safe from Maxim Horvath, a powerful rival from his past. Realizing he cannot face Horvath alone, Balthazar recruits Dave Stutler, an ordinary young man with an unexpected talent for magic. Dave is unwilling to become his apprentice, but Balthazar begins teaching him the skills needed to confront the growing threat.
