The Spiderwick Chronicles
After moving with their mother into the neglected Spiderwick Estate, twins Jared and Simon Grace and their sister Mallory discover that the house is connected to a hidden world of fairies and other creatures. Jared finds a field guide written by their ancestor Arthur Spiderwick, but reading it also draws the attention of beings that want the book for themselves. The siblings must learn what surrounds them while trying to protect their family from the dangers released by the guide.
