The Frozen Ground
Alaska State Trooper Jack Halcombe is investigating a series of disappearances when Cindy Paulson, a teenage prostitute, escapes from Robert Hansen and reports what happened to her. Hansen is a respected local baker, but Cindy identifies him as the man who kidnapped and attacked her. With little evidence to support her account, Jack works with Cindy to find proof before the killer can silence her or continue hunting other women.
