The Dressmaker

In 1950s Australia, talented dressmaker Myrtle “Tilly” Dunnage returns to the small town where she was sent away as a child after being accused of murder. Her return forces her to face the mother she left behind and the locals who helped drive her into exile. While Tilly uses her sewing skills to create striking clothes for the town’s women, she also begins a relationship with Teddy McSwiney and looks for a way to settle the wrongs of her past.
