The Family Stone
Meredith Morton, a conservative businesswoman, joins her boyfriend Everett Stone at his family’s Christmas gathering in Connecticut, where he plans to introduce her to the Stones. Their lively, unconventional household quickly proves difficult for Meredith to navigate, and the family’s open dislike leaves her feeling out of place. Everett’s deaf and gay brother Ben is the only one who does not turn against her, while the couple’s plans for an engagement become increasingly complicated by the strained family relationships.
