The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

Set in the American West after the Civil War, this anthology follows six separate stories shaped by the harsh rules of frontier life. A singing sharpshooter moves from town to town, while an inexperienced bank robber, two traveling performers, a lone prospector and a woman heading toward an uncertain future face very different trials. Their stories are joined by a stagecoach journey carrying a mismatched group of strangers through the open country.
