The Awakening

In postwar England, Florence Cathcart investigates reports of a haunting at a boys’ boarding school. A writer and occasional ghost hunter known for exposing supernatural claims, she arrives expecting to find a rational explanation for the strange events reported in the classrooms. However, the investigation becomes more difficult when Florence encounters something that cannot be dismissed as a trick or rumor, forcing her to question the methods that have guided her work.
