Crimson Peak
Edith Cushing, a young American aspiring author, meets Sir Thomas Sharpe, a British inventor seeking financial support for his mining project. Despite her affection for childhood friend Dr. Alan McMichael, Edith marries Thomas and moves with him to the Sharpe family estate in England, where he lives with his sister, Lady Lucille. Strange apparitions and the decaying house’s disturbing secrets force Edith to investigate the family’s past while trying to understand whom she can trust.
