The Aviator
In 1927, young filmmaker and aviation enthusiast Howard Hughes takes control of his late father’s company and begins pursuing two demanding ambitions at once: producing ambitious films and designing faster aircraft. As his aviation projects grow, Hughes challenges established industry figures while his success is increasingly complicated by severe obsessive-compulsive disorder. His work and relationships with Katharine Hepburn and Ava Gardner unfold alongside his efforts to keep control of both his businesses and himself.
