Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
In 18th-century Paris, Jean-Baptiste Grenouille grows up with an extraordinary sense of smell and turns this rare ability toward the art of perfumery. While searching for scents that cannot be recreated, he becomes fixated on creating one perfect fragrance and discovers that human smells may provide the missing ingredients. His obsession leads him to preserve these scents by any means necessary, including murder, as a small town is shaken by a series of crimes.
