For twenty years, Helena has lived alone aboard a spacecraft as part of a mission meant to reach a distant destination. A technical failure forced her parents to leave the ship, leaving her to continue the journey without them. When Alex, an engineer working in isolation, arrives to repair the vessel, Helena’s carefully controlled life is disrupted, and the purpose of her mission begins to come into question.
