Mary Queen of Scots
After her husband’s death, Mary Stuart returns from France to rule Scotland. Her claim to the English crown places her in direct conflict with her cousin, Elizabeth I, who is determined to protect her position as queen. While Mary faces religious opposition, court intrigues and challenges to her authority, Elizabeth must decide how far she can go to contain a rival whose presence threatens the stability of her reign.
