K-PAX

When Prot is brought to a Manhattan psychiatric institute, he says he comes from the distant planet K-PAX and insists that he reached Earth by travelling on a beam of light. Psychiatrist Dr. Mark Powell takes responsibility for the unusual patient and begins examining his story, hoping to find a rational explanation. However, Prot’s detailed knowledge and strange behavior make Powell question whether he is treating a delusion or dealing with someone who may truly have come from another world.
