Sphere

Dr. Norman Goodman is brought to the bottom of the Pacific with a team of scientists and military personnel after an unidentified spacecraft is found resting there. The vessel appears to be at least three centuries old and possibly extraterrestrial, yet signs of activity suggest it may not be abandoned. When the investigators reach its cargo bay and discover a huge, perfectly formed sphere, their mission takes an increasingly unsettling turn as they try to understand what it is and what the ship is hiding.
