Goon
Doug Glatt is a friendly bouncer whose talent for fighting is noticed after he gets involved in a hockey game. A minor-league coach offers him a place on the team as an enforcer, even though Doug can barely skate. With encouragement from his friend Pat, he takes on the job of protecting the club’s star forward, Xavier Laflamme, and soon becomes an important part of the team. His rise draws the attention of Ross Rhea, the league’s established enforcer, who sees Doug as a threat.
