Child 44

In the Stalin-era Soviet Union, MGB agent Leo Demidov loses the trust of his superiors and is sent away from his post. He soon begins looking into several child murders, but the investigation is difficult because authorities refuse to recognize a serial killer operating in the country. As Leo follows the links between the cases, his search brings unwanted attention from the Soviet government and puts both the investigation and his position at risk.
