Broken City
Former police officer Billy Taggart now works as a private detective after being dismissed for shooting a 16-year-old boy eight years earlier. New York mayor Nicholas Hostetler hires him to find out whether his wife, Cathleen, is having an affair, but the assignment soon turns into a political scandal. When Billy is double-crossed and framed by the mayor, he uses the evidence he has gathered to investigate the city’s powerful circles and protect himself.
