Braveheart
In 13th-century Scotland, William Wallace returns home hoping to build a peaceful life and start a family after years away. That hope is destroyed when English soldiers kill Murron MacClannough, his childhood love and new bride. Wallace responds by attacking the men responsible, turning a personal act of revenge into an uprising against the local English authorities. As resistance spreads, he takes on the fight to free Scotland from English rule.
