Arn: The Knight Templar
In 12th-century Sweden, Arn Magnusson, the son of a nobleman, grows up in a monastery, where he receives an education and training as a warrior. He falls in love with Cecilia Algotsdotter, but their relationship becomes entangled in conflict between rival families, and Cecilia is sent to a convent. Arn is sent to serve as a Knight Templar in the Holy Land as penance for their forbidden love, while war between Christians and Muslims keeps the couple apart.
