A Knight's Tale
William Thatcher is a young squire serving a knight who dies unexpectedly during a tournament. Seeing a chance to enter the competition himself, William adopts a false noble identity and sets out to prove he can compete among trained knights. With his friends Roland and Wat and the writer Geoffrey Chaucer assisting him, he faces the demands of the tournament, the hostility of rival Count Adhemar and his growing feelings for Jocelyn.
