A Taxi Driver
In May 1980, Kim Man-seob is a Seoul taxi driver raising his young daughter alone and struggling to make ends meet. When he hears that a foreign passenger will pay well for a trip to Gwangju, he accepts the fare without knowing that the man is German journalist Jürgen Hinzpeter. The journey places Man-seob in the middle of the Gwangju uprising, where Hinzpeter is trying to record the events unfolding in the city and bring them to the outside world.
