Four years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah Connor and her son John are living under false identities to avoid government attention. Their goal is to stop Skynet, the computer network that could trigger a future apocalypse, but pursuing that plan forces them to remain hidden while confronting the threat of a killer robot and the consequences of time travel. Cameron, a cyborg connected to their struggle, becomes part of the conflict as the Connors search for a way to prevent the coming disaster.
