Twenty-year-old Dorothy Gale is separated from her familiar life when a tornado carries her and her K9 police dog to the Land of Oz. Instead of the storybook realm she might expect, she finds a world divided among rival kingdoms and threatened by dark magic, deadly warriors and a struggle for power. As Dorothy searches for a way to understand this unfamiliar land, she is drawn into its conflict and must learn to defend herself in a war that reaches far beyond her own arrival.
