Beforeigners

In the near future, people from the Stone Age, the Viking era and the late 19th century begin emerging from the sea after unexplained flashes of light. Known as beforeigners, they must find a place in a world that has changed beyond recognition. When one of them is murdered, burned-out police officer Lars Haaland is assigned the case with Alfhildr Enginsdottir, a Viking-era arrival who has recently joined the modern police force. Their investigation points to a mystery connected to the wider phenomenon.
