The Whale
Charlie is a reclusive English teacher living with severe obesity, spending most of his time alone while his nurse friend Liz keeps an eye on his health. He hopes to rebuild his relationship with his estranged teenage daughter, Ellie, who has not forgiven him for leaving her and her mother. Charlie continues reaching out to Ellie, but every attempt to bring her back into his life forces them to face the distance that has grown between them.
