Fathers and Daughters
After his wife dies in a car accident, Pulitzer-winning writer Jake Davis is left raising their young daughter, Katie, while severe seizures and a mental breakdown make it impossible for him to care for her. Katie is sent to live with her aunt and uncle as Jake undergoes treatment. Years later, Katie works as a social worker and tries to build relationships of her own while dealing with the impact of her troubled childhood and compulsive sexual behavior.
