The Wailing

When a mysterious stranger arrives in a small village, a strange illness begins spreading and several violent deaths follow. Local policeman Jong-goo takes charge of the investigation, but the evidence points beyond an ordinary crime. As his daughter Hyo-jin also falls ill, he searches for the cause of the outbreak and turns to an exorcism in an attempt to protect her, while the stranger remains at the center of the mystery.
