The Talented Mr. Ripley
Tom Ripley, a young New Yorker skilled at passing himself off as someone else, is hired by a wealthy shipbuilder to travel to Italy and persuade his son Dickie Greenleaf to return home. Instead, Tom becomes absorbed in Dickie’s privileged life with Marge Sherwood, and his growing attachment to it turns the assignment into a dangerous deception. As he tries to take on Dickie’s identity, Tom must protect the double life he has created while facing the people who might expose him.
