The American
After a failed operation leaves his lover dead, professional assassin Jack decides to leave his career behind once one final assignment is completed. He travels in secret to a small Italian mountain town, where he is told to wait for further orders while preparing for the job. Away from his usual world, Jack grows close to Father Benedetto and begins a relationship with Clara, a local prostitute, but the quiet life makes it harder to remain alert to the threats surrounding him.
