George Hardy is a shepherd who spends every evening reading detective novels to his sheep, never suspecting that they understand the stories. When a mysterious incident disturbs the farm, the flock begins applying what it has learned to the real world. Following clues and examining the humans around them, the sheep set out to uncover what happened while George remains unaware of their investigation.
