Tova Sullivan, an elderly widow who works night shifts cleaning a local aquarium, forms an unusual connection with Marcellus, an observant octopus living there. Her routine changes when Cameron Cassmore arrives in town looking for his father and takes a job at the aquarium. As the three become involved in one another’s lives, clues linked to the past begin to surface, leading Tova and Cameron toward a discovery that could alter their futures.
