The Rite
Michael Kovak is a skeptical seminary student who travels from the United States to the Vatican for training in exorcism, despite his doubts about the practice. In Rome, he meets Father Lucas Trevant, an unconventional priest who takes him to cases involving people believed to be possessed. As Michael observes these rituals, his rational view of faith is challenged by signs that the devil’s influence may reach places he once considered protected.
