The Notebook
In a care facility, an elderly man reads from a notebook to a woman living with Alzheimer’s disease. The pages recall Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton, who fall in love during one summer despite their different backgrounds. Allie’s parents reject the relationship and separate the young couple, while World War II sends their lives in different directions. Years later, their past returns to the center of the story when they meet again.
