The Mauritanian
Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a Mauritanian prisoner at Guantanamo Bay, has been held by the United States for years without formal charges over suspected links to terrorism. When lawyer Nancy Hollander agrees to defend him, she begins challenging the case built against him and the lack of a trial. Their efforts bring them into conflict with the authorities, including military prosecutor Lt. Stuart Couch, who must assess the evidence and the methods used to obtain a confession.
