The Martian
After a severe storm forces the crew of a Mars mission to leave, astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead and abandoned on the planet. Still alive but cut off from Earth, he has limited supplies and no immediate way to contact anyone. Drawing on his training as a botanist, Mark works to extend his food and air reserves while searching for a way to signal that he survived. Meanwhile, NASA must determine how to bring him home.
