The Lake House
Architect Alex Wyler moves into a glass house standing over a lake and finds a note in its mailbox from the previous tenant, Dr. Kate Forster. When he writes back, the two discover that their messages are crossing a gap between different periods of time, making the mailbox their only means of communication. Their correspondence grows romantic, but finding a way to meet becomes difficult as they try to understand the mystery behind their connection.
