Steven Murphy, a successful cardiovascular surgeon, lives with his wife Anna and their children, Kim and Bob. His connection with Martin Lang, a troubled teenager, gradually brings an unsettling presence into the family’s orderly home. As the family is drawn into a tense struggle involving blackmail and control, Steven must decide how far he is willing to go to protect them.
