The Hours
The Hours follows three women living in different decades whose days are connected by Virginia Woolf’s novel Mrs Dalloway. In 1923, Woolf works on the book while struggling with her life in England; in 1951 Los Angeles, pregnant homemaker Laura Brown reads it as she cares for her husband and young son Richie. Decades later in New York, Clarissa Vaughan prepares a party for Richard Brown, a writer with AIDS and her former college partner, while the links between their lives gradually come into focus.
