The Founder
In the 1950s, Illinois salesman Ray Kroc visits a small Southern California burger business run by brothers Mac and Dick McDonald. The restaurant’s carefully organized system for preparing food quickly gives Ray an idea: he believes the brothers’ model could become a nationwide franchise. As he works to expand the business, his ambition brings him into conflict with the men who created it and puts control of their company at stake.
