The Dark and the Wicked

Louise and her brother Michael return to their isolated family farmhouse in rural Texas to see their seriously ill father. Their mother warns them that they should not have come, then dies by suicide the following day, leaving Michael troubled by the circumstances and Louise with a diary describing a malevolent presence drawing closer. As the siblings remain at the farm, waking nightmares and unsettling events suggest that the evil described in the diary may be affecting their family.
