The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

Thirteen-year-old William Kamkwamba lives in a poor village in Malawi, where a lack of rain leaves his family and neighbors facing famine. After finding useful information in a library book, William studies how a windmill could provide water for the fields. He then tries to convince the adults around him to help build one, turning his idea into a practical answer to the crisis threatening the village.
