Sing Street
In 1980s Dublin, teenager Conor Lalor is moved from his private school to a state school after financial problems strain his family. There he becomes interested in Raphina, an older girl who dreams of moving to London, and decides that forming a band could win her attention. With help from his brother Brendan and several schoolmates, Conor begins writing songs and making music videos, but his new project brings its own challenges as he tries to balance school, family tensions and his feelings for Raphina.
