Season of the Witch
In the 14th century, crusader Behman returns to a homeland ravaged by the Black Plague alongside his comrade Felson. The Church gives the two knights a difficult assignment: escort a young woman accused of witchcraft to a remote abbey, where monks are expected to perform a ritual to stop the disease. As the group travels through a country overwhelmed by fear and suspicion, Behman must decide whether the prisoner is truly responsible for the plague before they reach the monastery.
