Rounders
Mike McDermott is a gifted poker player who loses his entire bankroll to Russian-American gangster Teddy KGB and promises his girlfriend Jo that he will stop gambling. His resolve is tested when his friend Lester “Worm” Murphy leaves prison with a large debt owed to dangerous people. After agreeing to help repay it, Mike has to return to New York’s underground poker games, even though each hand brings him closer to Teddy KGB and the risks he tried to leave behind.
