Room 8

A newly arrived inmate is confined to a narrow cell in a grim Soviet prison, where he must adjust to an unfamiliar and oppressive reality. His only cellmate, an unwelcoming convict, immediately warns him to leave a red wooden box on the lower bunk alone. The warning makes the box the centre of the cell’s mystery, as the newcomer begins to question what it contains and whether it could offer a way out.
