Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Scientist Will Rodman tests an experimental treatment for Alzheimer’s disease on chimpanzees, hoping to restore his father’s memory. The drug unexpectedly increases the animals’ intelligence, and Caesar, a young chimpanzee raised in Will’s home, develops an awareness far beyond that of other primates. When Caesar is sent to a harsh facility, he must respond to the people who have confined and mistreated him, setting the stage for a revolt among the apes.
