Requiem for a Dream
Sara Goldfarb lives alone in Coney Island and becomes fixated on appearing on a popular television show. Her son Harry Goldfarb, his girlfriend Marion Silver and their friend Tyrone C. Love chase plans for money and a better future, but their growing drug use begins to control their choices. As each of them pursues a personal escape, addiction steadily cuts them off from the lives they imagined.
