Mysterious Skin

Neil McCormick, a teenage hustler, and Brian Lackey, a young man convinced that aliens abducted him as a child, carry very different memories of the same disturbing past. When Brian begins searching for an explanation, the two reconnect and examine what happened during their time on a youth soccer team. Their memories point to abuse by the team’s trainer, forcing them to confront the ways each has lived with the trauma: Neil by remembering it clearly and Brian by having forgotten it.
