Major Payne
After being discharged from the Marines, Major Benson Payne is left without a clear place in civilian life. His former commander gives him a new post as the instructor of a local school’s JROTC program, where he takes charge of a group of unruly cadets with little military discipline. Payne approaches the students as he would soldiers, but teaching teenagers proves very different from serving in the Marines, forcing the career serviceman to find a way to work with them.
